At Hyundai AutoEver, we focus our social contribution efforts on three main areas: happy communities, safe societies, and a sustainable future. Our programs are designed in line with our business strengths and in partnership with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Happy Community
Outreach
Volunteer
Program
Employees take the initiative in planning and joining volunteer activities for the betterment of local communities.
Family
Volunteer
Program
Employees and their families participate together in volunteer activities that contribute to local communities.
Life-Loving
Blood Donation
Campaign
We run year-round blood donation campaigns, encouraging employees to give blood or donate their blood donation certificates.
Safe Society
App development program to improve mobility and convenience for socially disadvantaged groups
We organize a barrier-free app idea contest for college and graduate students. Selected ideas receive support so they can be developed into actual apps and made widely available.
Sustainable Future
Empowering the next generation of IT security talent
We support high school students who aim to become information security experts by offering practical, industry-relevant education. Additionally, we give them the opportunity to take part in white-hat hacking competitions to further enhance their abilities.
Reducing the digital divide through hands-on coding classes for children
We selected and train university student mentors who provide hands-on coding education to children at local community centers. The program also offers children the results of their learning at a special exhibition.
Coding Creativity Camp for Regions with Limited Access to IT Education
We organize coding creativity camps in regions with limited access to digital education, such as remote or underserved areas, to help children develop their potential as future IT talents.
Employee Matching Gift Program
Since 2012 Hyundai-Autoever has been operating a Matching Grant Program in which both employees and the company contribute equally (50% from employees and 50% from the company) to create a fund that is donated to social welfare organizations.
